My goal is to provide practical and emotional support to individuals and their families facing end-of -life transitions to bring you peace of mind and heart using my professional and personal experience
I am a mom, sister, daughter, friend and a professional project and change manager. For over 25 years I have helped clients transition to new ways of doing business through people, process and technology changes. I have also helped friends and family through their transitions of downsizing, loss, illness and grief with calmness and compassion.
I have watched people I love die, some suddenly and some very slowly. I was the executor of my father's estate and supported my mom through this and other changes. Supporting family and friends through their end-of-life challenges, I realized how practical organizational skills as well as understanding and compassion are required to help people during times of pain and loss.
I am a graduate of the End-of-Life Doula program at Douglas College and a member of the End-of-Life Doula Association of Canada, I also hold a MBA from Simon Fraser University. As an end-of-life coach, I have the tools and understanding to help you and your loved ones plan for your death with dignity and grace.
A doula (pronounced DOO-luh) comes from the Greek word for Servant. An end-of-life doula is a non-medical part of your end-of-life care team providing emotional, educational and practical support that empowers you and your family to make informed decisions regarding your end-of-life care.
